Join Christina & team for a 3-day, 2-night floral design and business learning intensive at Cuyama Buckhorn, a peaceful roadside resort nestled over the Los Padres National Forest, east of Santa Barbara.

With a limited guest count, this unique retreat will feel very much like a private mentorship program. After a relaxing first day on the property where you can decompress and enjoy amenities like the pool and sauna, you’ll gather on Wednesday in a classroom setting for a full day of business learning. Christina will share her insights and business strategy behind running various floristry businesses. From running a home-based floral studio to scaling in a retail shop setting, Christina has years of experience operating in different settings. The forefront of her strategy has always been to operate businesses that are both profitable and efficient. You’ll learn how to price for profit, design floral recipes, create high-end proposals for clients, market to a wide range of clients, and much more.

On our last day of learning, the group will focus on hands-on event design and installation. We’ll design an impactful tablescape of overflowing blooms while also creating a grandiose floral moment on a greenhouse structure. Christina will discuss foam use and designing with both limited floral foam and entirely foam-free.

Whether your goals are to hone in on specific design skills or to build a stronger business foundation, we’re confident you’ll leave feeling empowered & inspired to reach new heights in your floristry journey. No questions are off the table with Christina and each student will also be invited to an optional 1:1 Zoom where they can go over additional questions with Christina in the month following the retreat.

Lastly, with content creation being an integral aspect of Christina’s success there will be no shortage of media at our retreat! Our photographer will be onsite to capture the entire experience and there will be dedicated time for headshots and portfolio images to capture your design work.

Sit down for a full day crash course on the business of floristry! From recipe building & pricing to marketing strategy, Christina's presentations will cover everything you need to know to operate a successful floristry business. Additionally, your ticket includes a screen printing workshop at High Desert Print Co. & a styled group lunch.

THURSDAY - RETREAT DAY 3

From modern tablescape design to large scale installations, this course covers a wide range of mechanics and design techniques. Focused specifically on sustainable foam-free floral design, Christina will go over how to build custom mechanics and design with impact. This ticket also includes a light breakfast, catered lunch, and professional headshots.

$2,400.00 - 3-Day Retreat Pass

$1,200.00 - 1-Day Pass for 10/16

$925.00 - 1-Day Pass for 10/17

Deposit - A non-refundable deposit of $1,200 to secure your place at Mise en Fleur for the 3-day pass. Payment in full to secure a 1-day pass for 10/16 or 10/17.

Payment Plan - Your remaining balance for the 3-day retreat will be due by September 15, 2024. If you wish to pay in full, please let us know via email and we will send an invoice for the remaining balance.

Cancellations - Due to limited space and the nature of the event, please note that all payments made are non-refundable. In the case that you can no longer attend Mise en Fleur, you may gift or sell your ticket to another attendee (with our prior written approval).

Travel + Accommodations Note -

Please note that your travel to & from New Cuyama, CA is not included in the ticket cost. Your lodging at Cuyama Buckhorn must be purchased separately (linked below).

To get to New Cuyama, CA a vehicle is required. Please note that this location is a mountainside town and public transportation and other driving services such as Uber and Lyft will not be accessible.
