Join us for a beautiful Spring day in wine country for a full day crash course intensive on the business of floristry!

With over 100 Mise en Fleur students to date, Christina's master classes have been provided florists the foundation and confidence to propel forward in our industry.

From operating out of a home studio to expanding into a brick & mortar retail shop, Christina's expertise in floristry spans across many different business models. Along with her own business changes and growth, her business course also deepens and expands each year. Topics she will review include pricing, proposal writing, production systems, and studio build-out. Her detailed presentation will provide you with all the information you need to operate a successful floristry business and no questions are off the table!

In addition to the business of floristry, this course also includes an engaging program on marketing and social media. From once being scouted on Instagram by an HBO producer, to booking content partnerships with with companies like Lego and Jimmy Choo, Christina has had an exciting journey on social media. As both a business owner and an influencer, her diverse content and openness to sharing has allowed her to build a a dedicated and authentic following. By adopting her strategies and applying them to your own brand, students will learn to strengthen their online presence and have fun with social media again!

Your Mise en Fleur experience doesn't stop there! In between class, we'll break for a fine dining styled lunch at the acclaimed Bear. Professional headshots will also be taken in front of a floral display and you'll have plenty of break time to explore the grounds at Stanly Ranch.

As a bonus, each Mise en Fleur student will also have the opportunity to book a private follow-up with Christina (via video chat) where she can answer any additional questions.

BUSINESS 101

Christina will share her insights and business strategy behind running various floristry business models, ranging from pop-up shops to a home-based floral studio and eventually scaling in a retail shop setting. The forefront of her strategy has always been to operate businesses that are both profitable and efficient. You’ll learn how to price for profit, design floral recipes, create high-end proposals for clients, market to a wide range of clients, and much more.

FLORAL HAIRPIECE WORKSHOP

Break for an hour and converse with your new floral friends as we engage in a light floral design activity. Christina will provide a full demonstration on her method for wiring and wrapping flowers for hair pieces and full crowns.

MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA

From social media strategy to phone photography & editing, online marketing is one of Christina’s fortes. It plays a vital role in her business growth and she'll be sharing insightful analytics along with her top tips & tricks. If you're feeling overwhelmed and uninspired by the current state of social media, this course will give you the confidence you need to reinvigorate your presence, reach new clients, and propel your business forward on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Tickets - $1,200.00

Travel & Lodging - Please note that your travel to & from Stanly Ranch (located in Napa, CA) is not included in the ticket cost. Retreat guests are offered a 10% discount on their resort stay at Stanly Ranch but are not required to book a room to attend Mise en Fleur.

Cancellations - Due to limited space and the nature of this event, please note that ticket purchases are non-refundable. In the case that you can no longer attend Mise en Fleur, you may gift or sell your ticket to another attendee (with our prior written approval).
